Service Privacy — Draft for Review

This describes the planned paid service. It is not yet the effective service notice. The early-access notice continues to apply to early-access requests.

What We Process

DataStreet Technologies, Inc. processes account identity, your company questionnaire, competitor URLs, subscription status, approved Slack destination and research. Stripe handles payment details; DataStreet does not collect full card numbers. Slack installation credentials are stored in Google Secret Manager, not in the code repository.

Context You Choose to Share

Replies to the app’s research posts and messages in channels an authorized admin explicitly connects can improve future research. Connected-channel content may inform reports visible to everyone in the company’s report channel. Do not connect channels containing private HR, health, financial-account or other sensitive personal information. We do not request DM access or read a workspace’s entire history.

How It Is Used

AI extracts concise corrections, existing capabilities, customer needs and priorities once per message version. These are company-scoped, team-reported context—not verified external facts. Google Cloud hosts research processing and storage, Google’s Gemini models generate summaries, Slack delivers reports, Stripe manages subscriptions, and configured public-source providers such as Bright Data collect public competitor information. The signup site is hosted through Sites and Cloudflare. Private Slack context is not submitted to public-source collection providers.

Retention and Controls

Stored message excerpts are scheduled for deletion after 30 days and stop being used for extraction at expiry. Extracted insights stop being used after 180 days. Disconnecting a channel stops future collection and excludes previously learned channel context from future briefs. Admins can forget all learned context. Slack edits and deletions invalidate associated insights when the app receives those events. Infrastructure cleanup and backup retention may lag application expiry.

DataStreet will finalize its legal basis, customer rights, international processing and contractual data-processing information before paid launch.
